“Do you love my insides? The parts you can’t see?”
“Eyeballs to entrails, my sweet.”
What you did - for me and Dawn. That was real. I won’t forget it.

#02 :: Spike and Buffy’s final scene in “Chosen”…I think this one’s pretty self-exclamatory. Even until the very end, Spike and Buffy’s relationship revolves around denial. She loves him, finally. He can’t accept that she does. She watches him burn, holding his hand, and a look of calm; acceptance, comes over his face and hers. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is. And you wonder why this is my OTP.

#05 :: “Every Night, I Save You.”This scene makes my list because it’s such a raw, heartbreaking moment. Buffy has just been pulled out of the bliss of heaven (though the audience doesn’t know this yet), and she finds herself with the only person she feels she can connect with: Spike. He, meanwhile, is pouring his heart out to her. ” … I saved you. Not when it counted, of course, but after that. A bunch of times, in a bunch of different ways … ” Buffy doesn’t really do much but simply look at him as he says this, but it is clear she recognizes it. Little moments like these at the beginning of the season are full of innocence and simplicity, in contrast with the intense sex scenes they’ll have later. I like that the writers threw a few of these in there first.

#04 :: The last scene in “Fool for Love”I didn’t put any words on this one, just because the silence is what makes this scene so beautiful. Spike sets out to kill Buffy here; he’s willing to ignore his own pain from the chip in his head to end his suffering by shooting her. Then he catches her in a vulnerable moment, and he can’t ignore it - he has to do something about it. He has to help. His quiet little question, “Anything I can do?” is just so sincere and beautiful, and we see the confusion in Buffy’s face; she’s not quite sure whether she wants him there or not, but the fact is: she lets him stay.
FAVORITE SPUFFY MOMENTS (in chronological order): 6x03, After Life.
Buffy: How long was I gone?
Spike: Hundred forty-seven days yesterday. Hundred forty-eight today. ‘Cept today doesn’t count, does it? How long was it for you? Where you were?
Buffy: Longer.
